What Awaits You
On This Journey
North from Kyzyl — a journey to ancient burial mounds, taiga rivers, and the traditions of Tuva.
You will visit the "Valley of the Kings" archaeological complex in the Turan-Uyuk Basin—an open-air museum featuring some of the world's largest and most ancient kurgans (burial mounds).
The itinerary includes a stay at a maral (deer) farm in the picturesque Elkin Klyuch natural area: enjoy mountain and steppe landscapes, free-grazing marals, antler baths, horse riding, hiking, and cycling. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase health products derived from deer antlers.
Accommodation is provided at a cozy base camp on the banks of the Biy-Khem River in a mountainous taiga region, offering boat trips, fishing, a traditional banya, and relaxation in nature.
The program concludes with a vibrant show by the "Edegey" Theater of Dance and Costume—a colorful performance that reveals the history and culture of Tuva through magical imagery, national costumes, and folklore.
